Warranty Policy

Warranties may vary manufacturer to manufacturer so please check with your sales representative if you have questions. All products sold by needBlinds.ca are covered by a minimum 1 year warranty protection.

Graber Blinds have a 5 year manufacturer’s  warranty, Graber will replace any blind found defective for 5 full year and cover any defects in materials or workmanship provided the product is measured and installed by us. After initial warranty period ends needBlinds.ca will provide “parts free of charge” as available by manufacturer.  A minimal labour charge may apply for repairs done after warranty coverage no longer applies. A standard fee of $45.00 is charged for all in-home repairs.

Return Policy

When you order custom blinds from needBlinds.ca, each blind is individually manufactured for each window in your home. For this reason, we can only accept returns on orders the manufacturer made incorrectly (in such very rare cases the factory will re-make your blind). If there is a defective product the manufacturer will repair or replace the product at no charge. Custom window coverings are not returnable.

Cancellation Policy

Once a deposit is collected for a custom product cancellation of an order is not possible, because of the speed in which your order is processed and manufactured. Blinds are made and shipped in may cases in 24 hours so sorry there are no cancellations accepted. If an order is cancelled for any reason you will lose your deposit to the factory.

Shipping Times

Most of our blinds ship from the factory within 5 days from order (depending on type of blind ordered). On rare occasions, there may be manufacturing delays out of our control. In these cases, we will notify you of the delay and the new estimated shipping date of your order. Unless there is a delay or need for more information from you, orders will be in production with-in 1 business day.

Multiple Shipments

Different types of window treatments may be manufactured in different facilities and shipped separately. Therefore, if your order consists of different types of window treatments, you may receive them at different times.

Shipping Company

We ship our blinds from the factory via Purolator and/or FedEx to our office for installation. If you order from out of town,  Purolator and/or FedEx in most cases will offer door-to-door service. If they do not offer this service in your area, the blinds will be held for you to pick up at the nearest Purolator depot. Our customer service department will advise you of any details regarding the shipment and delivery of your order.

Blinds over 96″ wide

We offer shipping anywhere in Canada for blinds under 96″ in width. For blinds larger than 96″  wide a shipping charge will apply. In this case, we will call you with an extra freight charge estimate for your approval prior to processing your order. A freight carrier will ship over-size blinds, as they exceed courier limitations and require special packaging.
